RETROSPECTIVE 1990 - 1998 Photos by Philippe Brom
Another way to photography the Philippines is to resist to the temptation of easy pictures, to refuse the appeal of the wonderful colours of the stands in the markets, the beauty of fruits and wovens, the fascination of the very expressive faces, and the infinite diversity of the cameos of the sea's landscapes. This collection of photographs, mostly in black and white, tries to rebuild the unique atmosphere of the archipelago, looking for the symbols and graphical details given by the nature, and to the imaginary links gathering them, showing the natural harmony of their way to compose the Philippines' landscapes. Avoiding to be anecdotal, it proposes an universal view of the Philippines, revealing their natural abstractions.

INKREDIBLES! Drawings by Elsa Ortega
Elsa Ortega's snapshots narrate Paris or Manila, in a poetical and realistic way, amazing us with their simplicity, beauty and truthfulness.
The cultural contrasts between the two cities are vanishing behind the black ink outline drawing, revealing beyond the distance, the universalness of urban life.
