Paris By Night
This series of photos was taken around the end of November 1996.
The Pont des Arts. One of the few pedestrian only bridges across the Seine. The building on the left is a part of the Palais du Louvre. Just to the right in the distance is the Tour St. Jacques.
The Pont Neuf. Despite its name (literally 'New Bridge') this is the oldest bridge in Paris. This picture was taken just after its clean up. The bridge is notable for its many sculpted faces all different.
View looking back from the Pont Neuf towards the Pont St. Michel. To the left is the Ile de la Cité with the Concièrgerie and the Palais de Justice.
Still on the banks of the River Seine, a view from beneath one of the bridges on the left bank.
