SUMMER STUDIES: ARABIC FOR FOREIGN LEARNERS
The Faculty of Humanities of Agadir proposes every summer (since july
14th) classes of Arabic for foreign learners.
These classes appeal to those learners who,
for professional or personal reasons, want to learn Arabic and to improve their
knowledge of the mechanisms whereby this Language operates and of the culture
it vehicles.
GOALS.
Learning
how to communicate in Moroccan Dialectal Arabic
or in Classical Arabic.
Initiation
to grammatical, syntactic and morpho-lexical rules.
Initiation
to the cultural environment of this Language.
CURRICULUM.
The training consists of
four levels: Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced and Proficient.
The curriculum contains three modules in
3 weeks:
Learning
Moroccan Dialectal Arabic.
Learning
Classical Arabic.
Arabic
Studies ( study for sitting
The total number of hours per week is 25
class hours plus 10h remedial course.
Classes take place from Monday Friday:
from
FACULTY.
The faculty of these Summer Studies is composed of:
A wide
array of university lecturers/professors.
Educationalists.
Writers
and poets.
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES.
Parallel to classes, cultural activities
are scheduled:
Conferences.
Visits
of the city and its outskirts.
Excursions to Marrakech, Taroudant, Essaouira,etc.
The price of these excursions is nominal.
ACCOMODATION.
The
Participants will be accommodated in the confortable AFERNI Hotel. The
participants, if they like, can manage their accommodation on their own
expenses.We will be at their disposal so as to provide them with all the
information they wan and to take care of all the necessary arrangements
(booking, etc).
FEES.
8000 Dhs, i.e.800 , covering all the arrangements.
