This site will enable you to initiate yourselves with written Arabic language. It comprises several lessons which contain texts, sounds and explanations. Each Arab word is accompanied by its translation in english, its transcription and its pronunciation (just click on the Arab word to listen to it).
However, this site  was created for a French-speaking public. There is thus, in the French version, much of headings. But you have access to the principal parts here, in English of course.
