Mourre d'Agnies' Breeding Great Danes

The Great Dane, the biggest race of dogs, imposing, impressive, it does not look like any other dog. Peaceful, quiet, social and overall very patient, it is totally devoted to its owner. It likes children and never abuses of its strengh, even if it always remains suspicious about strangers without being agressive.

I've been breeding Great Danes with the affix "du Mourre d'Agnies", which has been granted to me since 1970. Today I have about twenty Great Danes, mainly black and Harlequin.
Location : I live in South of France, at La Ciotat. This town has 35000 inhabitants and is located on the Azur Coast between Marseille and Toulon.
Reaching the breeding : Marseille - Toulon Motorway, exit at Saint Cyr sur mer. Then take the direction of La Ciotat during 2,2 km. At that point, take chemin Saint Antoine on your right. Entrance of the breeding, first track on the right. (Please see the map)
History : I have been owning Great Danes since the age of 17. My first great dane was a Harlequin female named Sheila de Mourre frais (Prinz von Khrabach-Stella von Riedstern). Mr Baux who is in my mind the best breeder of Harlequin in France, sold it to me. That bitch was "Champion of France's Doggen club" in 1972. Since that moment I have been fascinated by this race. Then I bought many great danes in the best breedings of German Harlequin. Even if I were already breeding before, I only decided to be a breeder by profession in 1991. I started with few litters first. Today I produce crossing with new lineages coming from other countries : Bjorndal, Hexengold, Can duran, Indios dell armida, Del nord ouest.
