WHY ARE THESE DISCOVERIES SO IMPORTANT ?
|
|
When disease comprehension is concerned, however, in term of determining a cause, a history and a sense at the human level, we did not make any progress yet. There only remains and endless sophistication of the discourse on this description and the mechanism of the affections as well as their smallest deviations. The risk factors and the statistics do not even enable us to know whether or not we will belong to the impressive batch of exceptions. Notwithstanding progress, the diseases and their sufferings are still present (and "updated"…). It is therefore easy to understand that a good many practitioners have attempted to complete the gaps of therapeutics; by digging into the past, including the oldest traditions, or by innovating using methods or medications beyond conventional teaching. This way a whole set of what is called alternative, different, parallel or soft medicine is offered to the patients hinting to their often more ecological side. No question of rejecting this varying and considerable contribution. When trying to allay, all these "tools" are to be taken into consideration providing they are not more harmful than therapeutic. This is in essence not the case with these means in spite of their welcome and that of their authors by the authorities, being most of the time unexisting, cold or aggressive. And, of course, taking personally care of one’s body in terms of alimentation, exercise and living apart from any possible source of pollution, is an utter matter of good sense. Consequently, all this is not in contradiction with our sayings and is even complementary. At the very most, one can be critical facing these too simple, too imaginative and even totally whimsical theories. In the field, when facing the diseased, you do not cure with theories and hypotheses, but with facts. Considering these differences in terms of therapeutic means, the work of Dr. Hamer is an empirical explanation of the origin, next to the mechanism, of the diseases. It is based on an observation of the suffering individual as a whole. Actually, it takes into account its sensitive, emotional, mental aspect: what can be resumed in one word: his psychism. Far from denying the real scientific works, it integrates them by bringing an "added value": a more complete diagnosis of the diseased opening on to a more thoughtful therapeutic choice (open to all solutions). It is thus not a theory we are imposing on the reader, but, on the contrary, an explanation we ask him to check. As far as I am concerned, and considering the responsibilities of my professional position, I proceeded to a rigorous verification during almost one year, this work questioning to such an extent the ideas received. Indeed, his study is a real voyage into the land of knowledge and not easy for the majority of people. Seeing our psychic intimacy constantly being invoked is rather implicating and the consequences of this "new look" on disease unsettles the various hypotheses, stereotypes and fundamental dogma’s of classical university teaching. But comprehension, liberation and hope emanating from it justify optimism in the (very) long run because these discoveries meet the still more urging expectancies expressed in the open. "Millions of years already mankind experiences more or less consciously that, in fact, diseases have a psychic origin and this has become a "scientific" attainment firmly deep-rooted in the universal knowledge inheritance; only modern medicine reduces the animated beings to a bag full of chemical formulas."
