History of the "BLANC MOUSSI" Newspaper

It is in June 1951 that appears the first "Blanc Moussi" newspaper directed by André DELSELMME and J.-H. MEYS, as writer.   

This is the newspaper of the "confrérie folklorique des Blancs Moussis de Stavelot" and is to be used as links between the "Blancs Moussis" and members "Honoris Causa". It speaks about the "Confrérie des Blancs Moussis" and their various activities.

At the beginning, the newspaper was printed in typography until 1973 when, starting from this date, the impression was made in offset.

The newspaper also speaks about Stavelot, and its various activities, tourism, legends and, recently, about " cyber-BM" : all the Internet sites referring to the folklore and the carnival.

Since 1951 until our days, they are + / - 480 newspapers of 8, 12 or 16 pages which came out of impression. Currently the newspaper has + / - 640 subscribers.

For almost 50 years, the newspaper "Blanc Moussi" is published 10 times per year.
