Seeing the textures in alt+z mode

Subdivide (or subsurf) and see.

The textures assigned to objects in the texture window [F6] can only be seen in textured mode [alt+z, sometimes you need ctrl+z first, then alt+z to recalculate the representation] if the object have a sufficient number of polygons and/or a high subsurf [buttons 'SubSurf' and 'Subdiv:' in the edit window (F9) second column to the left].
non_subdivised Here' a simple plane, not subdivesed in any way.
subdivise_une_fois Subdivided once.
subdivise_deux_fois Subdivided twice.
subdivise_deux_fois_subsurf_une Now let's add some subsurf. Hence, this is:
subdivided twice and subsurf1.
subdivise_deux_fois_subsurf_deux Subdivided twice and subsurf2.
subdivise_deux_fois_subsurf_trois ...subsurf3
subdivise_deux_fois_subsurf_quatre ...subsurf4
subdivise_deux_fois_subsurf_cinq ...subsurf5
for_comparison Here's a rendering, without any OSA, for comparison.
