This broch is represented surrounded by huts and a wall, which is uncommon feature.
The inner plan gives you an idea of how a wooden gallery was supported by a stone step, the "scarcement". Note the size of the wall at the bottom of the tower and at the top.
You can clearly see the staircase in the wall, allowing to climb to the roof.
