INVITATION À SOUMETTRE VOS PHOTOS...

Bonjour à tous.

Un petit mot pour vous signaler que les organisateurs du concours annuel de fabricants de télescopes d'amateurs "CAFTA" (Qui aura lieu la fin de semaine du 27 et 28 juillet 2001, au parc des îles de St-Timothée) cherchent des photos pour insérer sur les certificats des gagnants des différents concours. Nous avons donc pensé faire appel aux amateurs de la liste ASTRO et autres, dans le but de dénicher une photo ou (CCD) qui serait choisie par le comité du CAFTA. Si vous voulez soumettre une photo (CCD) que vous croyez apte à être reproduite sur les plaques des gagnants du CAFTA 2001, les procédures sont les suivantes :

#1 : Il faut que la photo proposée le soit par l'auteur de la photo.
#2 : Il faut que cette photo ait été prise après le premier jour du nouveau siècle (2000).
#3 : Il faut que la photo soit prise par un auteur québécois.
#4 : L'image doit être disponible au plus tard à la fin du mois d'avril 2001.

Pour visionner ces photos et effectuer un choix le plus objectif possible, les participants devront m'écrire, et me faire parvenir leur photo. Une par participant à l'adresse suivante : gilberts@total.net

L'image sera disposée sur le site du Club d'Astronomie de Dorval dans une section CAFTA bien identifiée. Tous les thèmes photos sont les bienvenus. Il n'y a pas de prix spécial au gagnant, sauf que sa photo sera immortalisée sur les plaques des gagnants du concours CAFTA 2001. Bien sûr il serait approprié que l'astrophotographe gagnant soit présent au concours.

Donc tous les intéressés, contactez-moi. N'oubliez pas de mentionner toutes les notes pertinentes d'accompagnement de cette photo, pour ce qui est de l'époque à laquelle vous l'avez prise. On se fie sur vous!

INVITATION TO SUBMIT YOUR IMAGES...

Hello to all.

Just a quick word to tell you that the organizers of the CAFTA (Annual Telescope Makers Contest which will take place during the weekend of july 27th and 28th 2001, at the parc des îles of St-Timothée) are looking for images to insert into the winners' certificates. We thought of calling on all amateurs on the ASTRO list and all others to help us find the image (traditional or CCD) that will be chosen by the CAFTA committee. If you would like to submit an image that you believe worthy of decorating the winners' certificates for the CAFTA 2001, you must follow these guidelines:

#1 : The image submitted must have been submitted by the author.
#2 : The image must have been taken after the january 1st, 2000.
#3 : The image must be from the province of Quebec.
#4 : The image must be made available at the end of april 2001.

So we may see these images and make the most objective choice possible, the participants must write to me and send their image. One per participant at the following address: gilberts@total.net

The image will be shown on the Dorval Astronomy club's website in a well identified CAFTA contest section. All theme will be welcomed. There is no special prize for the winner except for the fact that it will be immortalized on the winners' certificates for CAFTA 2001. Of course, it will be appropriate that the photographer be present at the CAFTA.

For those interested, contact me. Don't forget to mention all the related notes to accompany the image such as the date it was taken, etc. We depend on you!
