Shares Manager

The SharesManager is a program running in the BeOS. If you poor guys are still exclusively using Windows... maybe it's time to try something way better and a lot cheaper (Switch to BeOS)...

The SharesManager has multiple functionalities like:
- Companies Management (Internet downloadable quotes, directly from the NASDAQ)
- Portofolio Management (Shares state, History, Previsions, Operations, Accounts, Currencies)
- Parameters (To customize the previsions)

Future features ! I am willing to let the users, you, choose the next feature that will be implemented in the SharesManager. I have some propositions but if you come up with something else, please feel free to ask for it (especialy if it is useful ;-) ).

- Complete review of the underlying data structure to better fit the economy and, in the future, permit more complex operations.

- Provide an interface to test economic models and investement strategies... letting you test by yourself, on long time periods, if your strategy is a winning one (and how much it is a winning one).

- Debug to get rid of all those nasty bugs (Please send me bug reports if you encounter problems... so I can be aware of them)

- Provide a real database engine to serve the data instead of those stupid and inefficient flat files

- More speed (please tell me what you consider as being too slow)

- Other suggestions ?

I'm using the program but I have surely not tested everything. My knowledge of the Economy is also limited, so if you have any thoughts-suggestions-questions concerning this program don't hesitate to drop me an email. By the way, if you have a bug, tell me about it and I'll fix it as soon as I can (as I said, I'm using the program and I want it to be bug-free, this is NOT a Windows program :-) ).
