Early Morning April 13th
$75,000 Worth of Gear was Stolen
From Frank Black (Former Pixies Frontman)
in Philadelphia

Please alert your readers, listeners, friends and especially Pawn
Shops.
As a founding member of The Pixies, Frank Black has been building
a devoted cult following of fans with his unique form of stylistic
rock for fourteen years. The fourth show into the 35 city national
tour in support of his new release "Dog in the Sand" Frank
Black and The Catholics were robbed of all their gear including
the following particle list of items:
-10 x 4 white custom made trailer.(see
the trailer)
-Fender Telecaster Guitars from the late 50's - 60's.
-Vox Amps AC 30's
-2 pedal steel guitars
-Showbud and a Mullen
-1972 Fender Precision Bass
- Gibson Les Paul Rose Top

Approximate Total Value Lost = $60,000 to $75,000
Gear and trailer was stolen from the hotel Econo Lodge Airport
=600 Rt. 291 Lester, PA 19029 parking lot at around 3:00 am this
morning April 13th . Frank Black is more than willing to talk to
and interested journalist or DJ about the incident. Please help
and alert your public! Tell them if they see equipment in pawn shops
or see it available online to alert the Philadelphia Police Department
or the What Are Records? hotline at 1-888-281-1289.
