MIPSiCE 0.51 SOURCE !!!
Hello people :) It's time to share my work. I decided to put my source on my site under GNU General Public Licence . Use it freely and don't forget to greet me if you produce something by yourself. Don't blame me if you don't understand it, but i don't comment it. Nethertheless, it'shouldn't be too hard to read it.

"The Action Replay (AR) for Playstation appears as a little cartridge that must be inserted into the Playstation parallel port. When turned on, it lets players to activate cheat codes for practically all Playstation games, before booting the game itself. Inside AR there is a flash EEPROM that contains the code executed by Playstation when the AR itself is turned on. A ROM Replacement is a binary file that can be flashed inside the AR. For example, Datel spreads free ROM updates for its Action Replay (with new cheat codes for new games). To install ROM replacement, you need to connect PC and PSX with a Comm Link. The comm link is a PC ISA card, with a high speed parallel port. You can use a normal modem cable to connect AR and Comm Link (also the cable for Iomega ZIP drive works well)."

03/02/2000 Just a little message to inform you i don't give up MIPSiCE, I work currently to implement X-Plorer protocol, but I don't have any X-Plorer Cartridge so it's not obvious to success ! By the way, if you want to help me to implement this protocol, i put here a little C classic source ! This source doesn't work yet, but I think to be close to solution. If you success to communicate with Caetla Rom with your X-plorer Cartridge, think to contact me ;)

10/07/1999 Hum, I m sorry for this long time but i decided to put on download the beta version for MIPSiCE v0.40. There are surely some bugs but you could help me and report it to me by e-mail :) Nice joy with this preview coz i don't know if i'm going to continue the development.

09/20/1999 Trace mode step by step is now ready. It works but seems to block somethimes (rarely) on special addresses ! Nethertheless, i think it's not a reason to stop there, so i hope to put soon a little preview.

08/29/1999 Good news, it seems that the trace mode, step by step, works well. I hope to put here a demo version for the end of august.

04/09/1999  Lot's of works, nethertheless i put on download a little preview of MipsIce. It's really a little demo. I'll try to release a full version soon. So, good test and sorry for the delay.

01/20/1999  Hum, very busy days. It seems that i must change the release date. I think one month yet should be enough. Nethertheless, I want to thanks some of you for sending me e-mail. Continue to send me your questions.

01/04/1999  First of all, Good Year 1999 ! So, what'new this year ? I hope to release a version before end of january ! But i don't think to put it in the Public Download Section. I prefere to know before how many people are interesting in MipsIce application. So, if you are just here by the holy websurf spirit...continue your way. 11/17/1998  Hello my friends, this is a little message for all of you waiting the new MipsIce, I want to tell you, i don't give up the project, but i have a lot of work. Nethertheless, i have a good new, i almost re-code Mipsice, coz the old one was in dos C Language, now i use dos C++, and it's in my mind more efficient. So the next release will seem to be like the old one, but it will be better. For example i think to merge Mipsice Emu and Mipsice Caetla in one project only. I don't have any documentation about Ezoray protocol, but if you think it will be usefull to implement it, send me an e-mail to prevent me. Another thing, don't hesitate to contact me, i'm busy but i'll try to answer to you. 

07/24/1998  Hum, bad news ! I'm on holidays for 5 weeks, so i couldn't put MipsIce v0.31 on download before September :( it's sad, coz v0.31 was near to be ready.

07/05/1998  MipsIce v0.3a come back ! Finally, i decided to implement some Caetla functions. I'm sorry, but i give up (temporally) the emu part, but i plan to continue it later. So, if you want to test the 0.3a version, you must get an Action Replay Caetla (ver.0.31) flashed ! I know there are some bugs yet, so don't send me E-mail to tell me what is wrong ! but if you think that MipsIce can help you to do something, I really happy to know it. Currently the step by step trace mode is not implemented coz there are some mystical mistakes during execution, i don't understand why yet ! but i hope to implement it soon.
