The winners at the French National Specialty
The first PON arrival in France -
1979
The first "french "PON was a gray female (born
14.03.1979). DAHNA van den Meulenhof came from Belgium and
belonged to Joëlle Peugeot. She was a daughter of ASTOR van den
Meulenhof and Zazula z Psiego raju.
. The
first import
It is thanks to its son, a veterinarian, that Mrs. Granger
has been able to buy GRANIT Z ZERIBY, first PON
imported in France from Poland. M.Granger, in search of a dog
that looked like that that its mother had just loosed, has been
seduced by a PON female belonging to Mr. Van Den Meulen, that he
saw at the national Exhibition of Paris. Thanks to a Polish
veterinary colleague, he imported GRANIT. GRANIT has been little
showed , but has always well behaved during its some appearances
on dog shows. GRANIT has the number 6 on the french book of
origins, because it succeded his reproduction examination in the
sixth position. But, in fact, it was the first import.

Registrations
During the 1995
year, 269 PONs were registrated. From the beginning to 1996 ,
more than 1800 PONs were registrated in the french book of
origins. We think that it is a real success : in 1982, only one
PON was registrated !
In the end of 1990, 221 matings were registrated, and 157 litters
(393 dogs and 387 females). I is not a "baby boom" but
the the french breeders has more and more litters.
In 1981, we had only one litter , but now , we have between 40
and 50 litters a year.
Claudette
FLEURISSON (no kennel name)
Claudette Fleurisson is the first who bred PONs in France .
She imported two females from the belgian kennel of M.Van den
Meulen :
- DWIGGY (LOF 2, born 04.06.1979) and
- ERKA (LOF 3, born 11.06.1981).
She bred the first litter in1981,
from DWIGGY with a dog from Holland Kerberac's LEON . The two
first PONs born in France were two dogs called SMAC (LOF 4) and
SMOC (LOF 5).
(LOF means Livre des Origines Français - french books of
origins).
In February 1983, ERKA van den Meulenhof had even puppies
(with CH.I, CH.Holl Xalny van het Goralenhof. ERKA had 4 dogs and
3 females, and most of them were exported ( LOF 7 to 13). From
that litter , we notice TJINKO (LOF 9) , the only french PON with
a mondial champion title. No more active

DOUARD - "DE AIRKELSO"
The six dogs that were at the beginning of the famous kennel
"De Airkelso" were :

AMANT and GIBSY were the parents of the first
"Airkelso" litter. They had only one puppy but of great
quality : UNIQUE de Airkeslo (belonging to Corinne Vasseur)
AMANT died very young because of heart desease.
In 1984, and 1985 the dogs most often used from breeding purposes
were JARO, then VIDOC ( AMANT
x GROSZA) and its brother VOLF.
Then , in 1988 , BOLEK z DOLINY arrived, from Mr Szymanski Kennel
(MIRON z Kordegardy x ZENADA Kontrapunkt).

puppy is sold to the kennel "Du chevalier de la Toison
d'or".At the end of 1984, VANINA and VESQUIA , two female
puppies are kept by Mrs Blandin (SMOC and HUSTAWKA). In 1986,
BRUTUS De la Vallée du serein (VORSKI x VANINA), is kept. He

The first bitch of M.Durier is VEDETTE De Airkeslo - She was
bred with a belgian PON : HUCZEK v.h. Goralenhof, in 1987.
VEDETTE had seven puppies : two females puppies ,CAMELLE and
CALIE are sold to the kennel "Du Domaine des Deux
cèdres".
M. Durier imported a dog from Poland : RUFUS LOZA. From RUFUS and
VEDETTE, only one puppy was born in 1987.

Chalet du Gardien,
belonging to Marie France Gonfond, is the other
"famous" champion issued from that kennel. FIDJI is International and french Champion.
Then, M.Maquin used several sons of MONCKEY : DUKIN des Monts de Feigères, DOLSKI and DIORY Du
Chalet du Gardien.

leukaemia.

Breed and French Champion in 1994, international Champion in
1995.
Les Monts de Feigeres were "Best kennel" in the
National Specialty in 1990, 1991, 1992 et 1994 and 1995.
In 1993, because of personal reasons, Michel Pillard kept the
kennel name "Les Monts de Feigères", and the bitches
ENVIE and ISKAM.
Florence Piletta-Zanin created the new kennel "Ziemia
Ognia" with BERGERE, FEELING, HISKRA and VERUSCHKA GACHA.
All the dogs are X rayed and eyes tested.
In 1996, ZIEMIA OGNIA JODINA won a lot of shows in France.

First litter registrated in 1988, from M.Billard's bitch
BRISE de Airkelso and M.Maquin's dog CYPRYS z LAKI STOKROTEK.
Then , M.Billard imported from Poland, LYCZEK Inbred (born
14.12.87).
The kennel produced DOINA du hameau de Lenodie, French Champion
(in 1983).
Madame ANGEVELLE
"DU DOMAINE DES DEUX CEDRES"
Mrs Angevelle imported her dog Kontrapunkt LARUM (born
07.01.1987) from Poland-
LARUM was bred with two bitches that Mrs Angevelle bought at Mr
Durier's kennel : CAMELLE and CALIE de l'Arche d'Ankura.
From the litter LARUM x CALIE (11.07.1988), a female puppy,
DOUCHKA du Domaine des deux Cèdres is sold to the kennel Le Clos
de l'igloo.

"DES BOB'S DES LAURIERS AMANDIERS"
Her first litter is born from two Belgian PONs : HUCZEK van
het Goralenhof (First in junior class in poland, Posznan and
several CACIB) x KANDY van het Goralenhof, French Champion in
1987.
Then, the bitch KANDY is bred with the champion CRACK de Airkelso, owner Monique Galeziewski.

DUQUENOY " DE LA PRAIRIE DU CHATEAU"
Claudine Duquenoy imported two PONs from poland : the dog
KOSTUREK Kontrapunkt and the bitch LACZKA Inbred (born 14.12.87).
COLOMBINE de Airkelso and KOSTUREK are the parents of the first
"De la Prairie du Chateau" litter, in 1989. Then, four
litters in 1990 from COLOMBINE, LACZKA and CEDRANE.
Of course the most often used dog is CH.CRACK de Airkelso belonging to Monique Galeziewski, Mrs
Duquenoy's sister. Mrs Duquenoy also produced a famous champion ,
HECTOR de
la Prairie du chateau,
belonging to Patrick and Nathalie Delacroix, International,

In 1983, Corinne Vasseur bought the first PON produced by
Airkelso kennel : UNIQUE.
Then, she imported two bitches : one from Belgium, KALI Van het
Goralenhof and one from Germany, TARNINA PON Von der Raubkammer.
UNIQUE and TARNINA are the parents of the first litter of
"De la Nizinnerie kennel". 5 puppies, in 1989. Miss
Vasseur kept EMERAUDE. Second litter in 1991. Six puppies :
GRIOTTE is sold to Michèle Pollez . GRIOTTE became French and Luxembourg Champion. Two other
puppies, GIBSY et GWARNY are kept by Miss Vasseur.

The first litter is born in 1989 from CRACK De Airkelso and DOUCHKA du Domaine des Deux Cèdres (

the best beginner at the National Specialty in 1990. In 1990, a
second litter from CH. DANOU Du Chalet du gardien and ETNA Des pins d'Aldorène (two puppies kept by
Family Peiroux). In 1990, Mrs Peiroux bought EDATCHA De

"DE LOTHLORIEN"
The first bitch of Bob Poizat is a belgian import, LOESJE van
Falada. In 1989, LOESJE is bred with DIORY du Chalet du Gardien
(ten puppies). LOESJE is one of the french "Elite
Bitch", that is to say best bitch (breeding point of view).
Two litters in 1989 : EGIPSKA, EMALIA and EIGOR , became
International Champions. In 1990, two new bitches arrived at the
kennel : EVA des Yetis de la Voge and CALIE de l'Arche d'Ankura.
Bob Poizat imported in 1990 , from Poland : PASZKO z GANGU
DLUGICH international Champion, , CALUS z Psia Gorka, JAWOR od
Janosika I Mariny et the bitch CIZBA z Wielgowa.

Champion at the age of nine years old

"COUNTRY JO'S"
The first bitch of France Cavailles is DOINA du Hameau de
Lenodie, in 1989. En june
of the same year, a dog, ECCHO de Airkelso, arrived at the kennel ; he became French Champion.
France Cavailles bought Uwaga Jestem ROSY, International and
French Champion, in 1990. The first Country Jo's litter is born
on 15.02.1990 , from Uwaga Jestem SACHA x DOINA .
France Cavailles kept FLAPJACK HONEY and FARTUSZEK, international
champion and European Winner.
Mrs Cavailles also kept at the kennel GABARDYNA and JAZY.
GAZELLE de Airkeslo is bought in 1992.
Mrs Cavailles produced Country Jo's ICHKA, French Champion in 1997 (owner Virginie Guy).

First litter in 1990 , six puppies from CRACK de AIRKELSO x CENA z DOLINY. In 1991, five puppies

Ratoin. She is bred in 1994 with FIRST called FORD de la
Chaumière St Aubin.

Doliny) : Mr Baboin kept GERLINTZ. M.Baboin bought FIONA du
Chalet du Gardien. He kept in 1993 IDRYSS (FIONA and CRACK de
Airkelso), a brown bitch. (three litters with FIONA and CRACK . In 1994, GUERLINTZ, (CALINE and EUREKA )
is bred with FRACK, a dog belonging to Francis Theil.
