| The band si starded, a few years ago, with Ponnais, Bernaar, Jevon and Bart. They recorded a demo without lead guitar wonder Timmy Potter who has replaced their old guitarist Bart who has left the band due to differences in interest and motivation. Musicly Disapathic is a gathering of various styles of metal, all in the heaviers regions. Ponnais (ex Black Priests) is very much inspired by old thrash gods like Slayer, Exodus and good death metal bands like Vader, Bolt Thrower, Benediction (uk friends of ours) and Death. Bernaar (ex Wolf) is most of all inspired by grindcore bands such Agathocles, Abstain (usa good friends of ours) old school trash bands as Kreathor, Sodom and crushing death metal bands like Vader, In Quest. Jevon (ex meet meat) who is also a talented flamenco guitar player, is very much inspired by technical death metal bands like Death and the belgian band Catafalque, Sepultura and Metallica. Timmy (ex Manifest) our technical guitar wonder is very much inspired by guitar players like Satriani, Vay, Malmsteen. Thibaut, the bassist/vocalist and leader of Atroxentis who also plays bass in Chaka joined the band in june 98. Together, their aim is to play technical and heavy death metal by adding just a tad more. Looking forward on a shitload of gigs to come in and outside Belgium, Disapathic is ready to conquer the world.
