I've added 2 articles in French and some info to the page on Helene Grimaud.

It's Christmas! So I've achieved a long-awaited - well, awaited by me, since the day I started it, because I don't like to leave work in progress... - page about The Madelyne Pryor Case, to add to the Phoenix - X-Men files. I also eventually achieved the english version of my page about DragonLance - in the Library section, too.
Plus, I checked, revised and updated links for all the pages, and I added a links page containing a few links that didn't anywhere else (friends, etc) and also button and banner to link to my site...

- First and all, I'm starting that update page :-) ... Considering the labyrinth of this site, it's the only way to notify updates efficiently.
- This page will also serve to provide answers to people who ask me something but forget to leave a valid email in the form, or who are AOL-like users and reject responses to their questions... It happens more often than you think. Way often enough for me to think of doing a page to answer them. But I won't tell names, I promise. Just the answers requested, if I have them.
I try to reply to everyone who writes to me, sometimes I get lost in time and forget, but well. I'm trying, okay? It is not intentional if I don't reply. - I've added two pages in the Library : one dedicated to Anne McCaffrey's "Pern" novels (labelled as "science fantasy", for those who care about labels), and the other one dedicated to Neil Gaiman's "Death", a comics you probably know, but well. My latest source of fresh (yes, fresh) inspiration.
Previously on this site...
The Soulcatcher was born in August 1996, and has been slowly but surely changing ever since, depending on my humor. It once had a cinema section, that was lost without a trace - I got tired of receiving emails from kids thinking I was the actors I was talking about, and I didn't have the time to keep the section updated. It also once had an anime/manga section, that was removed because other Soulcatcher residents complained of the neighborhood - just kidding. And it was also a pain to update. And other people did that better than I did. Not that it's not the case for other subjects of the site, but well... I moved on to other stuff. Last year, I started a vast global upgrade of the site, in design and contents.
- The Music page started as just a list of lyrics for songs I like (it's a bit more complicated actually, but you don't have to know the reasons behind every thing I do on this site, except if you like riddles). It evolved with new pages dedicated to some artists whose work I really enjoy (R.E.M., Natalie Merchant, Björk, Helene Grimaud), and original illustrations for some of their songs - it's still in progress.
- The Library was born redesigned from the ashes of a "gallery" featuring souls from novels and comics : Elric, Paul Atreides (Dune), Rachel Summers / Phoenix (X-Men). It still is so, but the old page about Arthur Rimbaud joined in during the process or re-design, and it has been enlarged with 3 new pages about Terry Pratchett's Discworld, Roger Zelazny's Amber, and classic readings.
- The My Words section offers some poems and short stories of mine. It should include also pictures in a future I hope not too distant... But I already scattered some of my art across various pages of the Soulcatcher, if you're curious. Mostly on the pages about Armand, Björk and R.E.M.. All pictures containing the Soulcatcher logo (a dreamcatcher surrounded by flames, as seen on top of this page) are my work.
- The Soulcatchers section gathers everything related to the vampire Armand (from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles) and actor River Phoenix, because they were both great inspirations during the last years, and still are. Gathering them in the same section is probably a weird move, but they're just too important in the making of that site to be confined to lesser sections. The best evidence of it is that I'm always willing to add material to these pages.
- There was a time where the english section contained more pages than the french one (I'm french, for your information), because I wanted the Soulcatcher to be as people-friendly as possible. As a student I had time and energy to translate everything, which I find more difficult to do now that I have a regular job. So if you read this page, know that in french there are a couple more stories in the "My Words" section. The Library contains some extra pages that still need to be translated in english (it will be done). The french version also features a "TV" section about some of the few series I do watch (or watched) : E.R., Ally McBeal, Daria and BlackAdder. That section will never be translated, because well, it's not the best part, it's just a reminder and free advirtising for the series towards my compatriots.
