Exemple :

Steps needed are :
1. Change the DXR3 Drivers in Control Panel,
System to the Hollywood Plus Drivers (v1.5) holp1_5d.zip 2.
Install the Hollywood Plus Software holp1_6a.zip
3. Change the 1.5 Drivers in Control Panel,
System to the Hollywood Plus Drivers (v1.6) holp1_6d.zip 4.
Use the Hollywood Plus Zone Selector Program (set Regions 1 - 6) zs30.exe

Zone Selector is the most powerful freeware tool which allows you to view movies from all regions on your Hollywood Plus decoder !

It Runs under Win95/Win98/WinNT4.0 with all drivers version.

To launch your movie directly, simply press the "launch dvd" button. Now, instead of choosing the region your H+ card is set up, you simply select the region of your DVD disk.

 

Version History

Version 3.0 :

- Correct bugs found in version 2.5.
- Screenshot.
- Improvement of the automatic launching of DVD!
- Supports the loading of MPEG file separatly ( Drivers 1.6 ).
- Total Control of Zone Selector in the tray bar (right click).
- Only one executable ... no more DLL.
- Improvement of the graphic interface.

Version 2.5 :

- Correct bugs found in version 2.1.
- Added the autolaunch capability when inserting a DVD !

Version 2.1 :

- Now available in two separate versions (95/98 and NT4.0).

Version 2.0 :

- Macrovision remover option added.
- Works now on multi-processors platform (not tested).

Version 1.21 :

- Added a "command line" option to launch DVD Station.

Version 1.20 :

- Zone Selector can now allow the playing of bi-directional region protected DVD's. I.E. (This means that the Zone Selector can play DVD's which check the player ; Mainly movies from Universal, MGM and Paramount).
- Only one instance of zone selector can run at once.
- Finder : Searches the system registry for the location of the REALmagic DVD Station.
- Choose how the Zone Selector runs. Either in the system tray or not.
- Much more conprehensive help.
