Putre, Chile, 3500 m High.
I arrived in Arica at midnight.
I slept the night at "the Residence de Madrid", a bed for 5$.
In the morning I took a Bus to Putre. It was the bus going to
La Paz, Bolivia. I paid 5$, and I asked the driver to stop me at Putre.
I spent the day and the night there to get used to the altitude.
Very dried area.
