1. Getting any important identification document

The consulat section from the Embassy have authority to give any croatian civil statement paper (birth act extracts, marriage/death act extracts), but also print any type of document listed below here :

• costum certificat : bringing a croatian passport (in validity time) and paying 22.87 € (or 150 FF) of consulat's taxes.

• individual civil statement paper : bringing the original date of birth extract, one ID card (in validity time) and paying 16.83 € (or 111 FF) of consulat's taxes.

• Familial civil statement paper : bringing your original extract of birth of all memebers of your family, marriage extract or your parents, ID cards of your parents (in validity time) and paying 16.83 € (or 111 FF) of consulat's taxes.

2. Getting any paper to non-authorize to pay the douane rights

Principaly for croatian people who are coming back to their country living, this document is available a year as the first declaration in douane, will give them rights to don't pay the douane rights.

The overseas people who has a permanent visa in Croatia can also ask for it.

Time to get it : the same day (exceptly if incomplete documents).

You have to bring with you :

- The paper who attest your stay in overseas filled up.

- Your croatian passport (in validity time)

- One paper attestation of end of stay in France, minimal time of 5 years (work attestation, Residency attestation, end of work for retired). and you have to : 69.22 € (ou 454 FF). as consulat's taxes.

3. Getting or renewing his passport

All croatian passport with expired date will be replaced by a new one after the renewing procedure. The list of documents you have to bring are same than in both chapters below.

The passports will be remake in a month delay after the end of request. Since the 1st january 2000, the individual passport will be an obligation for all people under 18.

You have to bring with you :

- the requests of passports (taking it at the croatian Embassy in France)

- the document « domovnica » (Croatian ID paper)

- one birth extract ; for people in overseas, one in few languages of birth extract is required (in application to Vienna's Convention)

- one ID card (in validity time) or the croatian passport

- two ID pictures in colors with white background (standart dimension : 35 x 45 mm).

And you 'll have to pay : 84.77 € (or 556 FF) for under 27 years old each (validity time passport : 5 years) and 112.97 € (or 741 FF) for person over 27 years old (validity time passport : 10 years).
