The Netherlands

• You can now play our game on the web against a human player. To do so, go to Mindsports!
  Unfortunately, it is impossible for the moment to play live, and this is simply a graphical variant of play by email games. But this is better than nothing!
  Your browser must be java-compatible.
  Last feature: a few problems were added to help you learn the game. A good complement to the online training of this site.

• The Orap Open site The Orap Open is one the three main summer tournaments in the Netherlands. With a lots of very good players including the world champion Tchizov himself !

• The KNDB site The site of the Dutch federation. News and books list. Only in Dutch.
• Le site de Klaas van der Laan An excellent site for those who want to know more about 31-26 and 20-25 opening. Klaas shows lots of variants and combinations in a good framed site. Only in Dutch.
• Hoofdlijn, now on the net, is made by Nico Leemberg, Harm Wiersma and Herman van Westerloo. 6 magazines per year, in Dutch. Lots of analyses made by strong players illustrate the recent international tournaments. The magazine is rich and interesting. Much news, lots of writers and high quality analyses.
• Harm Jetten's site You can download from there the bright program Dam 2.1. And it is completely free!!
• Wieger Wesselink's home page The 93 Netherlands's champion. With hundreds of problems, particularly targeted to beginners. If you want to learn what combinations are, go there quickly.
• Newlands draughts page A weird page. Worth the look.
• Draughts Homepage Rein Halbersma's page. Lots of links. It contains the list of Dutch champions and a list of the world champions. And also a word about 'Qui perd gagne' variant.
• Theo Dijkstra's homepage In Dutch. Many info about the latest tournaments and of course The Hague tournament organized by this man.
• Computer draughts & checkers page Michael Grimminck's page. A small site dealing with softwares and the ways of programming. It also says a word about the PDN format (portable draughts notation).

• VOG Checkers server
  The first server dedicated to draughts. You can now play online live against a human player. Nice and very helpful.
  Run to their site and download the required software for connecting to the server. Many variants of the game can be played.
• Russian federation's official site This site is now in English. Tournaments and results. Interesting.

• Draughts in Russia Lots of cool stuffs there (Interviews...). Definitely worth a close look !

United States

• Arthur Olsen's If you want to know everything about draughts rules variations, go to this site. You will also find links for every existing game on 64, 100 and 144 squares board. A great work indeed.

• An amazing site about checkers. The reference!!!

• Adrian Millet's site Various information about computer programs. Adrian Millet created Dynamo.

 Mongolie

• The Mongolian federation's site. Great ! Even the Mongolian come on the Internet !

Italy

• Loris Milanese's site gives lots of info about the Italian draughts world. Mainly in Italian though.
