I would like to start off by telling you a bit about myself. I was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario. I have lived here all my life. I started out with ballet, baseball, volleyball and beauty pageants when I was in elementry school then moved on to more beauty pageants, volleyball and cheerleading for 2 years when I went to high school. I've done nothing but fashion shows, and contests throughout my teenage years. I started working out when I was in grade 11 in my aunts basement where I would take the bus from school everyday. After that, I decided to join a gym. It turns out that I ended up at Golds gym in Niagara Falls in May of 2002 and that is when everything changed! I walked in one day and the owner said, "hey! have you ever thought of competing??" Well, that one phrase changed my life. I made a career change from working at the bank 5 days a week to working out 6 days a week. I dieted for 7 weeks for my first competition, in which I was very nervous to go in and not to mention that I almost backed out several times! I lost 20 lbs! And I placed 4th in the womans heavy weight category. My intentions wasn't to go into bodybuilding because I'd rather not go professional within that field. I am going to stick to fitness modeling and figure competitions with the odd natural bodybuilding competitions. I also extremely enjoy acting and would love to pursue a professional career in this field. I now am a "Fitness Model" and I have an agent in Toronto. So, here I am writing a brief bio on myslef for my website and I am still wondering how it is possible that my dream came true.
