The knife has been the daily companion, for 100 000 years.
This banal instrument, composed of a handle and a blade,
is renewed perpetually; new design, new materials.
It joins together:
- esthetism, by its form, its matter, its chiselling.
- intelligence, by its design, its utility, its originality.
- the temperament, by its aspect kindliness or aggressive.
Arranged in a pocket, a bag, or a drawer, a knife lasts a whole life, and is transmitted generations in generations.
Paradoxically, it worsens more when it is not useful any
more.
The restoration is a trade of art which can be entrusted to
only a professional.
