The sBas-yul are the secret lands, the hidden,
the promised lands in the tradition of the Tibetan countries. They are
situated in regions hard of access, hidden behind walls of ice, protected
by dense forests and possessed of myterious powers. sBas yul music is
an invitation to travel in these lands with their pagan rituals, dionysiac
danses and seasonal orgies. The soft and tireless percussions, the hallucinating
guitars and the wonderful female arabian voice of Rajae Essefiani lead
us toward uncommun sonorous dreams.
