MSH--MICROCLINE, Quebec Minerals

MICROCLINE
Silicates, KAl,Si3,O8
Microcline is quite commun at MSH it is almost every where but xtls are the best in big pegmatites and giant xts are extremely rare like the one that i am offering you.

This is straight from my collection a giant unique xtl of microcline made of a baveno twin with 90degres. The quarter beside really show you the size of that superb specimen of 13cm high by 7.5 to it largest side. On the outside, the xtl is covered with mm xtls of albite that gives it a light pink reflect and in the inside of the angle as you can see it is filled with micros minerals like aegerine, microcline, albite, donnayite, rutile, pyrite, steacyte 1 xl only, polylithionite, sphalerite, burbankite grp.remondite(?). By the way that specimen was verified by my friend Jerry Vanvelthiusen before he left us.
