COMMENTS...

So...here's what the persons I had sent my "theorizing" to thought about it:

Mr Mike Carlin (AKA "The Great Carlini!"):

"(...)I still prefer focussing our crossover stories through a CHARACTER rather than a device. Sure, tunnel's there. I never felt those old stories were out of continuity (...) I also generally try to avoid doing stories that hinge on footnotes from more than five years back...even in plain old DC Universe stories(...)"

Mr Kurt Busiek (writer: Astro City/Avengers/IronMan...):

"Yes, I received it, and was impressed with the care & detail you went to in working things out. I must admit, though, I've never been all that concerned with fitting together all the various crossovers...I just figure that most of them take place on Earth-Twinkie, which is were I relegate the old Seventies ads and other stories that don't fit in continuity (...) I can appreciate the work you went to; I'm just not that interested in establishing an internal consistency on that kind of level (...) Peter Sanderson would probably enjoy the theorizing (...) Mark Waid and I are as history-oriented as writers get these days, but I don't think Mark would want to write such a story (...)"
