The days after their official christmas party, the women probably will participate at an indoor tournament at Zwickau on December 18th/19th.

The webmistress wants to thank the team of TeBe for having shared their hot lemon tea with her and some other freezing supporters during the break.

A new hair-cut sometimes leads to new strength and Michaela 'Murkel' Schulz was very strong indeed today. It was also her, who woke her comrades, the opponents and the audience as well by scoring after about half an hour. Until then the 78 paying spectators were more fascinated by the question whether the dark clouds would bring some nasty thunderstorm (fortunately they did not). The second half-time of the match was a lot more interesting and amusing - at least from TeBe's point of view and the women showed a good performance to merit the high victory.

Report from 10/26/99:

According to 'women's soccer' our coach Ms. Wahnschaffe will not run for reelection at the next meeting of the Berlin Women's Football Committee on November 1st. This committee, founded to promote women's football in our town, seems to neglect the support for the clubs. As Ms. Bogs from 1. FC Lübars wants to retire also, there might arouse the strange situation that women's football in Berlin will be represented only by men during the next period.

6th Round of the Northeastern Regional League:
Tennis Borussia - DFC Westsachsen Zwickau: 6 - 0 (5 - 0)
Goals: Prühs (3 x), Bluhm, Manzer, Baier
The match against the newly promoted DFC Westsachsen Zwickau was no real challenge to the women of Tennis Borussia and after having shown their superiority they slowed down during the second half-time.

News from 10/18/99:

For the next round of the Berlin Cup Tournament Tennis Borussia was drawn against Adler Lichtenrade II. The match will take place on November 6th or 7th.

5th Round of the Northeastern Regional League:
Fortuna Magdeburg/Wolmirstedt - Tennis Borussia: 2 - 8 (2 - 4)
Goals by TeBe: Prühs, Feinbube, Manzer, Haase (each 2 x)
It was the hardest match of the season so far. During the first half-time the girls from Magdeburg were determined opponents. Only after the break the Violets could decide the game and score four more goals. Finally they had to accept the first goals against them of the season. What a pity, but it had to happen sooner or later.

Today our "dream-team" Feinbube-Prühs seemed a bit weak, but Fortuna was with us during the first half-time. Hertha Zehlendorf, who played better than expected before, helped Tennis Borussia by scoring for us and by causing a penalty kick. Fortunately there are more able scorers at our team and after heavy raids on Kerstin Prusas's goal Jennifer Manzer and Viola Bluhm were successful. About 55 spectators could praise the violets at the end.
