Welcome to District 27, one of the 30 districts of Zonta International.
Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of executives in business and the professions working together to advance the status of women.

We have a very large district. It covers Belgium, Luxembourg, East France, North East Germany, Poland and Ukraine.
As you can see, it consists of 6 countries with 6 different languages.
We are indeed a multicultural district and this makes it very interesting and challenging.
The geographical size makes communication and travelling among the clubs sometimes difficult, espacially with the East European countries Poland and Ukraine; the use of e-mails as well as participating in charter ceremonies, conferences and conventions helps solving these problems. Our district is divided in 4 areas, each of them with its own identity and culture.
Despite our geographic contrasts and differences in culture we are united by the Zonta Spirit to make a better live for women worldwide, through local and international service projects.
Zonta provides opportunities for leadership, fellowship, networking and service.
